C. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

 

PROFESSOR (ANUCASS 7): Prospective candidates for this post should possess a good first degree, second and a doctorate degree in the relevant field from a recognised University with at least three (3) years of teaching and research experience since becoming an Associate Professor in a recognised University or comparable institution of higher learning. Candidates must have scholarly publications in reputable and high-impact journals published locally and internationally. In addition, candidates must show evidence of ability to supervise post-graduate students in the areas of expertise.

 

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR (ANUCASS 6): Prospective candidates for this post should possess a good first degree, second and a doctorate degree in the relevant field from a recognised University with at least three (3) years of teaching and research experience since becoming a Senior Lecturer in a recognised University or comparable institution of higher learning. Candidates must have scholarly publications in reputable and high-impact journals published locally and internationally. In addition, candidates must show evidence of ability to supervise post-graduate students in the areas of expertise.

 

SENIOR LECTURER (ANUCASS 5)Prospective candidates for this post should possess a good first degree, second and a doctorate degree in the relevant field from a recognised University with at least three (3) years of teaching and research experience since becoming a Lecturer I in a recognised University or comparable institution of higher learning. Candidates must have scholarly publications in reputable and high-impact journals published locally and internationally. In addition, candidates must show evidence of ability to supervise post-graduate students in the areas of expertise.

 

LECTURER I ((ANUCASS 4)): Prospective candidates for this post should possess a good first degree, second and a doctorate degree in the relevant field from a recognised University with at least three (3) years of teaching and research experience since becoming a Lecturer II in a recognised University or comparable institution of higher learning. Candidates must have scholarly publications in reputable and high-impact journals published locally and internationally. Ability to supervise post-graduate students in the areas of expertise are essential.

LECTURER II (ANUCASS 3):  Prospective candidates for this post should possess a good first degree, second and a doctorate degree in the relevant field from a recognised University with at least three (3) years of teaching and research experience since becoming an Assistant Lecturer in a recognised University or comparable institution of higher learning. Evidence of scholarly publications in reputable and high-impact journals and teaching experience from a recognized University will be an advantage.

 

ASSISTANT LECTURER (ANUCASS 2): Prospective candidates for this post should normally possess a good first degree and a Master’s degree in the respective field from a recognised University and must have registered for a Ph.D. programme.

 

GRADUATE ASSISTANT (ANUCASS 1): Prospective candidates for this post should possess not less than First Class in relevant field from a recognised University.

SENIOR LIBRARIAN (ANUCASS 5): Prospective candidates for this post should possess a good first degree, second and a doctorate degree in Library and Information Science from a recognised University with at least three (3) years of teaching and research experience since becoming a Librarian I in a recognised University or comparable institution of higher learning. LIBRARIAN I (ANUCASS 4): Prospective candidates for this post should possess a good first degree, second and a doctorate degree in Library and Information Science from a recognised University with at least three (3) years of teaching and research experience since becoming a Librarian II in a recognised University or comparable institution of higher learning. Candidates must have scholarly publications in reputable and high-impact journals published locally and internationally. Ability to supervise post-graduate students in the areas of expertise is essential.

 

ASSISTANT LECTURER/LIBRARIAN (ANUCASS 2): Prospective candidates for this post should possess a good first degree and a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from a recognised University and must have registered for a Ph.D. programme in Library and Information Science.

In addition, candidates must be duly certified members of ICAN, ANAN or other equivalent professional bodies. Candidates are required to have a minimum of 18 years post NYSC accounting and cognate experience from a university or comparable institution.

CHIEF ACCOUNTANT (ANUCNASS 13): Prospective candidates should possess BSc. in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration or related discipline from a recognized institution with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division plus NYSC Discharged Certificate or Evidence of Exemption. In addition, candidates must be certified members of ICAN, ANAN or other equivalent professional bodies. Candidates are required to have a minimum of 14 years post NYSC accounting and cognate experience from a university or comparable institution.

ACCOUNTANT I (ANUCNASS 8): Prospective candidates should possess B.Sc. in Accounting or Finance from a recognized University with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division plus NYSC Discharge Certificate or Evidence of Exemption. Candidates are required to have a minimum of 3 years post NYSC cognate experience. Candidates with B.Sc in Economics, Business Administration or other related disciplines and certified membership of ICAN, ANAN or other equivalent related professional bodies can also apply for the position.

 

ACCOUNTANT II (ANUCNASS 7): Prospective candidates should possess B.Sc. in Accounting or Finance from a recognized University with a minimum of 2nd Class Lower Division plus NYSC Discharge Certificate or Evidence of Exemption. Candidates with B.Sc in Economics, Business Administration or other related disciplines with ATS certificate can also apply for the position.

 

HIGHER EXECUTIVE OFFICER (ACCOUNT) (ANUCNASS 7): Prospective candidates should possess Higher National Diploma in Accounting from a recognized Polytechnic with a minimum of Lower Credit plus NYSC Discharge Certificate or Evidence of Exemption.

LIBRARY ASSISTANTS IV (ANUCNASS 3): Prospective candidates should possess SSCE/NECO/SC/GCE O’Level with at least 3 credits including English and Mathematics.

 

UNIVERSITY HEALTH CENTRE

SENIOR MEDICAL OFFICER I (CONMESS 4): Prospective candidates should possess M.B.B.S, or BMBCH or its equivalent Degree, with a current Practicing License from Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN). In addition to NYSC Discharge Certificate, candidates must have at least 9 years post qualification experience.

 

SENIOR MEDICAL OFFICER II (CONMESS 3): Prospective candidates should possess M.B.B.S, or BMBCH or its equivalent Degree, with a current Practicing License from Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN). In addition to NYSC Discharge Certificate, candidates must have at least 6 years post qualification experience.

 

MEDICAL OFFICER (CONMESS 2): Prospective candidates should possess M.B.B.S, or BMBCH or its equivalent degree, with a current practicing license from Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN). In addition to NYSC discharge certificate candidates must have at least 3 years post qualification experience.

 

SENIOR NURSING OFFICER (ANUCHESS 10): Prospective candidates should possess B.Sc. Nursing from a recognize institution with NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate. Candidates must be duly registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN). In addition, candidates must have a minimum of 3 years’ cognate experience. Candidates with RN & RM Certificate and duly registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) are expected to have at least 9 years post qualification experience.

 

NURSING OFFICER I (ANUCHESS 9): Prospective candidates should possess BSc. Nursing from a recognize institution with NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate. Candidates must be duly registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN). BUILDER I (ANUCNASS 8): Prospective candidates should possess B.Sc in Building from a recognized Institution with a minimum of Second Class Lower division plus NYSC Discharged Certificate or Evidence of Exemption. In addition, the candidate must be registerable with the Council of Registered Builders of Nigeria (CORBON)

 

HIGHER TECHNICAL OFFICER (ARCHITECTURE) (ANUCNASS 7): Prospective candidates should possess Higher National Diploma in Architecture from a recognized Polytechnic with a minimum of Lower Credit plus NYSC Discharge Certificate or Evidence of Exemption.

 

TECHNICAL ASSISTANT IV (CARPENTRY) (ANUCNASS 4): Prospective candidates should possess First School Leaving Certificate and Trade Test III or NABTEB Certificate in the relevant field with minimum of three years cognate experience.

 

TECHNICAL ASSISTANT IV (AIR-CONDITIONING) (ANUCNASS 4): Prospective candidates should possess First School Leaving Certificate and Trade Test III or NABTEB Certificate in the relevant field with minimum of three years cognate experience.

 

TECHNICAL ASSISTANT IV (PLUMBING) (ANUCNASS 4): Prospective candidates should possess First School Leaving Certificate and Trade Test III or NABTEB Certificate in the relevant field with minimum of three years cognate experience.

 

TECHNICAL ASSISTANT IV (GARDENING) (ANUCNASS 3): Prospective candidates should possess First School Leaving Certificate with gardening experience.

 

DRIVER I (ANUCNASS 6): Prospective candidates should possess SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O/L Certificate with three (3) credits plus Class ‘E’ Driving License and Trade Test I (Driver’s/Motor Vehicle Mechanic’s Work). Candidates must have at least 12 years driving experience.

 

TRANSPORT OFFICER (LUXURIOUS BUS) (ANUCNASS 7): Prospective candidates should possess SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O/L Certificate with three (3) credits plus Class ‘E’ Driving License and Trade Test I (Driver’s/Motor Vehicle Mechanic’s Work). Candidates must have at least 15 years driving experience with 3 years driving long buses.

SYSTEMS ANALYST I/PROGRAMMER I (ANUCNASS 8): Prospective candidates should possess B.Sc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent professional qualification from a recognized Institution with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division plus NYSC Discharged Certificate or Evidence of Exemption. Candidates are required to have a minimum of 3 years post NYSC cognate experience.

 

SYSTEMS ANALYST II/PROGRAMMER II (ANUCNASS 7): Prospective candidates should possess B.Sc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent professional qualification from a recognized Institution with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division plus NYSC Discharged Certificate or Evidence of Exemption.

 

IT/TECHNICAL OFFICER (ANUCNASS 7): Prospective candidates should possess HND in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant discipline from a recognized institution with a minimum of Lower Credit plus NYSC Discharged Certificate or Evidence of Exemption. A good knowledge of networking will be an added advantage.

 

LABORATORY/ MASS COMMUNICATION (TECHNOLOGIST)

 

LABORATORY TECHNOLOGISTS (PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY, BIOLOGY, EARTH SCIENCES) (ANUCNASS 7): Prospective candidates should possess B.Sc./B.Tech/HND in relevant Technology from a recognized Institution with a minimum of Second Class Lower or Lower Credit plus NYSC Discharged Certificate or Evidence of Exemption. In addition, the candidate must be duly registered with the relevant Professional Institutes.

 

BROADCAST STUDIO TECHNOLOGIST (MASS COMMUNICATION) (ANUCNASS 7): Prospective candidates should possess B.Sc/HND in Broadcast Technology, Media Production or relevant Technology from a recognized Institution with a minimum of Second Class Lower or Lower Credit plus NYSC Discharged Certificate or Evidence of Exemption. Candidates should have proven experience operating broadcast studios—ideally within an academic or training context. Strong proficiency in handling digital and analog broadcasting systems, as well as skills in studio equipment operation, troubleshooting signal and transmission issues, managing production workflows, and using editing software like Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro is necessary. In addition, abilities in mentoring students, maintaining technical inventory, and adapting to evolving media technologies are highly desirable for creating an engaging and professional learning environments.

 

BROADCAST STUDIO TECHNICIAN (ANUCNASS 6): Prospective candidates should possess National Diploma in Broadcast Technology, Film Production, or a comparable discipline from recognised institution. Candidates must have practical experience in camera operation, video editing, and live studio workflows. In addition, they must be adept at handling professional broadcast cameras, operating switchers like Blackmagic ATEM or Ross Video Carbonite, and mixing audio/video signals on industry-standard mixers. Proficiency in non-linear editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve is required. There must be strong troubleshooting skills to ensure seamless live and recorded productions.

 

STRATEGY & COMMUNICATION

 

DIGITAL/MULTI MEDIA CONTENT SPECIALIST (ANUCNASS 7): Prospective candidates should possess B.A./BSc./B.Tech/HND in Marketing, Journalism, Digital Media, Mass Communication, Graphic Design, Fine & Applied Arts or relevant disciplines from a recognized institution with a minimum of Second Class Lower or Lower Credit plus NYSC Discharged Certificate or Evidence of Exemption. Candidates must be good in analytical tools, SEO & hashtag, content creation tools and have the ability to manage social media platforms to grow audience engagement. They should have hands-on experience in creating engaging visual and written content.

 

GRAPHIC ARTIST (ANUCNASS 7): Prospective candidates should possess B.A. in Fine and Applied Arts or relevant disciplines from a recognized Institution with a minimum of Second Class Lower or Lower Credit plus NYSC Discharged Certificate or Evidence of Exemption. Candidates should be skilled in professional photography and photo editing using tools like Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom, adept at graphic design in Illustrator and InDesign, and proficient in managing social media platforms to grow audience engagement. Strong media writing abilities are essential for crafting compelling captions, blog posts and articles that align with brand voice. Excellent organizational skills, a creative mindset and the ability to analyze content performance metrics that will ensure effective on-brand storytelling across digital channels.
